As of the May filing date, Venoco Inc. was still the sole donor to the campaign FOR the Paredon and had already almost $600,000 trying to convince voters to let Venoco circumvent the City & our community.  We raised $80,000 from hundreds of individuals and organizations.  Although outspent almost 10:1 by Venoco, we were able to DEFEAT Venoco's Measure J.
